a human leg flies across the fence ‘mr. robinson, did you kill a dear or something?’
this is the epitome of 2000s slasher trash. a 10000 dollar budget, abysmal acting and terrible dialogue. these are supposed to be high schoolers, but they look 30 with 5 kids, specifically the men. the characters are all extremely dumb to the point where my brain cells start to disappear, like a girl got killed in the house and it took them an hour to work out that he was in the house? and another girl runs to the killer with the chainsaw and ends up cutting herself.. this follows endless cliche horror tropes, such as sex = death and just so many boobs. don’t get me started on the acting, they all seem like they haven’t took an acting class in their life (which they probably haven’t) but besides that, it’s just basically slumber party massacre without everything that made that film good. a chef (literally the weirdest killer ever) kills a bunch of girls in a house party until there’s only one left. and the final girl really isn’t memorable, would’ve preferred suzy to be the sole survivor, but the rest of the characters are just unlikable and terribly written, idiot fodder to increase the kill toll. the only thing really going for this is the gore, and also the low budget production 2000s style definitely has a charm, and this film was kinda in the so bad it’s good category, and the cover perfectly describes what the film will be like, so extra points for that.
