Big plane guy here to say thank god this is a real movie that actually exists. They were doing stunts in and on these tin boxes in midair no CGI no harnesses… holy jesus insane. I love planes so much even absolutely nightmarish ones like these. How did they do this.

Anyway this was made just for me and for me only. Susan sarandon my bisexual mother. This is my fourth (?) Redford movie of the week and coincidentally the fourth gayest movie of his I’ve watched so far so if anyone wants to take me out back and put me down like a sick dog please go ahead. Some fun fun fun stuff and then surprisingly not so fun stuff out of absolutely nowhere, not great compared to The Sting (GRH the goat) but still not bad at all despite the strange and uninteresting plot. Top Gun adjacent (they even say “you’re dangerous” and there’s some “you can be my wingman any time” type stuff) so 2022 me would be super happy and 2025 me is happy cuz it has my blond girlfriend in it. Atrocious outfits in this one—controversially I despise the 1920s. Mid decade men’s fashion wise because I believe flat-caps are ugly. But I like his faggy little knee high boots

This is a fun one! Susan Sarandon is great in this, and Robert Redford delivers as always. Really did not know what to expect going into this. But ill chalk it up as delightful and quite simple.
