im interested on reading the book as it knowns by the earliest novel ever written, also it written by a woman. what stopping me is that it's an ancient story and i might not be able to understand it😂, so i decided to watch the movie adaptation first to give me at least glimpes of the plot loll
so this movie give my first impression ever to the story of genji monogatari, but i paused on the halfway because it just doesn't feel right😂 as im starting to understand the storyline, i was like, no this is not what the novel's talking about, it couldn't be just all about a male on heat is it?😭😭 so i went here immediately to read some reviews, and decided to watch the anime version instead (1987)
