Director- Ozu Yasujiro.I decided to watch this after finding it randomly on YouTube. The film is incredibly entertaining and shows off the art and culture of the lion dance excellently.I knew nothing of this art; thus, it acted as a great introduction. This is a documentary on Kikugoro the sixth. I checked on Wikipedia and saw that his father, Kikugoro the fifth, has a Wikipedia page, but his son doesn't. Hence, this serves as the main source of acquiring history on Kikugoro the sixth for me.The narrator has a good pace of giving more information about the scenes. It doesn't feel rushed at all.For my first view of a Kabuki performance, this was a banger. It gave me the vibe of Kantara by Rishab Shetty. At the same time, it also reminded me of Jiraiya from Naruto.
