What a lovely little film. It's got everything I love. A cute baby, Richard E Grant and a predictable little rom-com plot
I love me a good rom-com sometimes, cause when done well they're just what you need. This is a great example of a well made rom-com, that manages to be extremely predictable in it's story, structure, characters and so on, while still managing to stand out amongst the huge crowd of decent rom-coms.
Richard E Grant is definitely one thing that makes this stand out as he's a fantastic actor with an incredible charm and energy you won't find anywhere else. He has fine chemistry with Samantha Mathis, who does a good job in her role however is slightly out shined by Grant. The rest of the cast is great too, but that baby is especially great. I loved one scene she has with Samantha Mathis in a bath - so cute!
Overall I found this to be a great time. If you wanna watch a fun little English rom-com with a little extra cuteness from a baby then this is definitely worth checking out!
