i knew i probably wasn’t going to love this, but i watched it anyway.

there’s definitely some great things about this underwhelming slasher - the actor of simon is dedicated to his role and gives a great performance, and this is just sleazy fun which clearly doesn’t take itself seriously, which is one the best attributes for a slasher, the kills are also pretty decent. besides that, there’s nothing much else to love, my biggest issue is there’s literally no plot, and it feels simplistic and nonsensical at the same time (not a good blend) it kinda gives you a hard to follow backstory, but they don’t really explain themselves very well at all. this film is 100% an easy watch, you focus on the gore and not the plot, which can work but not for me. i’m also a massive cgi hater, and this film uses way too much trashy cgi blood barf. the characters can be fun but they’re just kinda generic and undeveloped. but this is just a boring slasher with a good preformance from glovin and kills have a nice concept, not a great execution though.
