“Can we see the new Jason Statham movie?”
“We have the new Jason Statham movie at home.”
I only went to see this to support Tyrese, and OH, BOY. Can someone PLEASE make a new Transformers movie or the new Fast & Furious movie so he doesn’t have to take roles like this? This was the 136th movie I’ve seen in the theater in 2025, and I haven’t laughed this much in a theater all year (derogatory). The actors you know delivered performances you’d expect— the ones you don’t know were BAD. Its edited like an early 2000s crime thriller show on CBS. - Bad dialogue with endless plot holes and convinces taken. - The bad guys had guns and the main character beat up dozens of them armed with just a wrench, and at one point a bad guy put his gun away to pick up knives to kill an unarmed man. It turned out how you’d expect. It’s also not lost on me that Tyrese is a supporting actor in a movie about a mechanic who wears a silver crucifix and cherishes family who beats people up with a wrench. Shout out Dom Torretto. Black Betty was a white Chevy tow truck. Ok. The most generic action thriller of 2003 delivered to us in 2025. All I can say is I hope none of the respected actors in this movie ever need a paycheck this badly again.
