Um why was this kind of fire, not what I expected all all not going to lie. Great movie to watch if your at the same stage in life that I'm at, I sorta am never serious or never take anything serious and this is about that its dope. Also one of my jobs is online so I'm lucky able to watch movies during it, not just randomly watching a movie on a Wednesday morning lol.
Story 𝟟.𝟛/𝟙𝟘
Honestly a super positive movie to watch and great lesson. Sorta just on growing up, the romance is great. Super invested from the start (might just be because I enjoy everything Shias in) but not sure, I really liked the 2000s vibe to it. Felt super real, aside from the fact he just drives a army car thing. Incredibly easy to get into, very easy to understand the message they are going for.
Characters/Acting 𝟞.𝟠/𝟙𝟘
I mean its definitely more of a simply acted movie which is good just there goal wasn't to go extremely deep, but with the script they were given they absolutely nailed it. Again the partial romance between Kelly (𝑆ℎ𝑖𝑎 𝐿𝑎𝑏𝑒𝑜𝑢𝑓) and Tabby (𝐴𝑚𝑦 𝑆𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑡) was so cute, the sorta vibe they had was so sweet. Kelly is very similar too me not going to lie to you, I either say nothing or straight yappage.
Style/Filming 𝟟.𝟙/𝟙𝟘
Mad vibes. In the right way this time, perfectly executed the 2000s vibe without going overboard. Just what I imagine 2003 to be like honestly. Film was great, simple yet funny on the action sequences.
Ending 𝟞.𝟟/𝟙𝟘
I mean it was pretty predictable but not bad. Great way to close all the elements they had going for it. Loved how they ending it with Kelly and His Dad (𝑊𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑖𝑎𝑚 𝑆𝑎𝑑𝑙𝑒𝑟) thought they nailed that part.
Overall 𝟟/𝟙𝟘
Great movie to watch if you want something easy to watch with a great message on growing up. Solid acting wise, well structured plot, great writing.
