I watched this to prepare for my Dutch oral literary exam that is next week. The slow reveal from the event that the whole movie is about is done well. There were a lot of moments where the fourth wall was being broken by Paul, the main character, and I thought that made the build-up stronger. I don’t like the fact that the ending is completely different than in the novel by Herman Koch.
