I wish I could just reread Into Thin Air for the first time, this was underwhelming for how much Krakauer mentions the Imax team and their millions of $$$ movie they were making at the same time as the Rob Hall/ Fischer groups were up there. Seeing that it turned out to only be a 45 min film with very boring narration and staged hiking scenes was soo blah when there was sooo much more they could’ve said. Also do not like that they decided to summit anyways after 8 people already died a week before but that’s everest tourism for u I guess
