Talk about a 70s movie. This is about as 70s as it gets. Now I understand that this was a blaxploitation era film so I took everything here with a grain of salt. I understand the script was heavily race based as well and it came off as a little distasteful anyway. What I can say on the positive side of this is how good the soundtrack is. It’s honestly a shame how underused and misused it is throughout the actual film. As far as plot in this film goes though, I don’t think this was terrible. The premise was good. I enjoy the Mr. T character and I could have seen this becoming a franchise had the film been more popular. I think the pacing was a bit odd and the side characters were a little underused. I think the development of all the characters could have been better if the run time was longer. I wish there was more of this so it got to its full potential. But nevertheless, not a bad movie.
