This movie tore me apart despite the fact that I wasn’t all that into it. It was certainly an emotional roller coaster and had me feeling stressed 24/7….the happy ending was definitely a nice touch after all the viewer has to endure. But regardless of the fact that it wasn’t really up my alley, I think it was executed, for the most part, very nicely. The backstory and memories of the brothers and Maddog added to all of the emotion, and I really like the imagery of the fields of flowers featured a few times throughout the film. Throughout the movie all I could do is find myself feeling sorry for Joshua, he ended up becoming the man he hated most in his life. He did everything that he did just to call it quits. And the thing that broke my heart the most was the fact that he thought Lyric was taking his brother away from him.
