okay a lot of ppl complain about how “educational” these young indiana jones episodes try and be but i don’t have too much of a problem with it. there may be some question to whether or not it’s right for them to try and teach certain things in a format with such high opportunity for error, and it can get quite “boring” but i’m rarely turned off by something boring and i found the educational segments easy to digest even if they were often lacking in humor. i think it inspires some curiosity on these subjects which is good considering the show’s audience is meant to be in that sweet spot of youth where shows stop being educational but you’re still too young to ever find a documentary interesting.
i can imagine a younger me would benefit from the simplified versions of the major religions indy is taught, so i really can’t be too mad.
anyways indy almost dying was so intense and miss seymour seemed more annoying than usual in the part in china, but it was solid.
