‘i see you as a sister’ immediately starts making out
I definitely prefer this over the original, maybe it’s because jen and sylvia moska directed it or maybe it’s because it isn’t edited like a slipknot music video. like the last film, the two best elements are the morgue setting, decent gore and a nice villain. plus there’s a nice fight back at the end. besides that.. there’s not really much else. I wasn’t attached to any of the characters and thought they were slightly annoying without depth, and they were canon fodder to be annihilated to increase the death toll. this film isn’t interesting in the slightest, and I think this franchise is an example of a good concept with a bad execution. it’s falls into loads of horror cliches and doesn’t really have a personality of its own. I really like the morgue setting as it doesn’t really get used enough in horror films, and the last half is definitely action packed, I just kinda wanted more and maybe i should’ve lowered my expectations. I liked how it kinda got rid of the lore of the last film, as it was just generic and predictable and this film had a better pacing, tension and editing. the first film was a lot funnier though. the gore is really cool though, especially the last scene and this is just a pretty average horror flick
