Popped up on tubi and the trailer looked pretty decent. This is a pretty messy film. But it has that charm of knowing it's a bad film and never taking itself too seriously. Everytime the main characters are about to run it plays a goofy ass looney tunes effect, it was amazing, definitely the best gag in the film. Essentially the film is about beach photographers who capture a murder on camera by accident and decide to solve the case themselves and all they have to go by is a black rose tattoo. It's a sexualized crime action comedy film. Using the term comedy lightly as the film is just funny because of have badly it's aged. The main characters are fine. Pretty creepy dudes until the film actually kicks off into the crime part. But hey... soundtrack by Hans Zimmer and Danny Trejo as an uncredited extra. Idk what else to say. It's a trashy 80s noir film. I always find myself watching these random ass corny 80s films. Most of the things in this film are just bad. Others are things that haven't aged well and or just flat out creepy. like most low budget 80s exploitation films. Has a girl being sexualized in a nazi outfit for a scene, racist jokes, harassment in the beginning. Idk not gonna say I recommend it but it's also not like crazy bad. It holds itself together in a way. Product of its a time (in a more unfortunate way) It's in between a 2.5 - 3 stars. Maybe like a 2.7! When that whole ice cream fight scene happens. The bald guy is supposed to look tough and intermediating but you can see him trying so hard not to laugh when they are dumping the ice cream on him. And also There's a girl in the opening credits wearing a dokken shirt. Shoutout to her. Love dokken so much. Wish they never split.
