Fujino was right and she should do it again!

currently my second favorite (from a first time watcher’s perspective) and oh my god. totally, this is by far the DARKEST. the opening scene alone was honestly one of the most shocking things i’ve seen in animation. i did like the morality of this movie, and the “argument” of if her actions were justified. i both like the little “twist” that she wasn’t stabbed, but the whole appendicitis thing was kinda dumb. but overall definitely another enjoyable watch.

Amazing sound design and animation, both Shiki and Mikiya are amazing characters. Strongest entry yet maybe due to the fact that this one featured a solid antagonist which also gave it another dimension.

did not expect this series of films to take a turn like that. this is our first encounter with fujino but she is already my favourite character; maybe it’s because she gets a full character arc in this one film while we’ve only seen fragments of development from our other characters in the three films so far. 

it’s hard to talk about this film in particular due to r*pe being a strong factor in the writing, but they did a really good job of representing the emotional damage one would have with this kind of experience.

…also fujino really reminded me of vecna LMAO
