for a movie that’s in another language i found this very easy to follow and grasp even if i wasn’t always looking at the subtitles which is what i love about this! daniel brühl never fails to entertain me and make me fall in love with every single character he plays, his character david kern was so unbelievably awkward and shy in this movie but daniel’s delivery was really great and you could see the character development of david very well through the acting. the beginning of the movie was a little slower than when you get to the half way mark which i think is what preventing this from being a four star rating as the last moments of the movie were very thrilling, funny and captivating whereas the beginning was very sluggish! david and jacky’s odd relationship was interesting to say the least and seeing david actually WRITE his own piece calmed the anxiety you feel as the audience thinking the world will find out david’s dirty little secret
