Desi Lydic and Leslie Nielsen were clearly having fun here but lord they couldn’t even save this movie, this was really bad and nostalgia couldn’t even save it.

This had moments so mind boggling I chuckled but I can count how many times I laughed with the movie on one hand, this just felt like a bad SNL skit that would never end and the random nature unfortunately didn’t work in the movies favor. 

The forgot to CGI in smoke during a scene and all the characters are making dumbass faces pretending to smoke. This features the worst “high” acting I’ve ever seen, all jokes feel badly set up just for the characters to badly explain the punchlines immediately. 

I don’t know what blackmail was had on the cast but Jesus this was Movie 43 levels of “how the fuck did they get them in this shit”. It was a fun idea to revisit this as I really did enjoy it when I was younger but this is one of the spoof movies that really did not stand the test of time.

One too many poop jokes, sexual innuendos, and offensive for the sake of being offensive jokes. But you put all that stuff to the side, it’s a turn your brain off movie. It’s of it’s time, it’s made by the people who did Scary Movie, so you know what you’re getting into. There’s good jokes, I’d even say the plot of having all these iconic movie monsters be in here is a really fun idea, and you could really only do this in a parody situation. The monsters are barely in this though, I will say. And I feel like there’s like so many more you could’ve thrown in, too. Not one Scream joke? Now that’s just absurd.
