my favorite of the animatrix shorts when i was a teenager, probably because it had a cute anime girl in it. i decided to put it on because i randomly thought of it and now i think i’m gonna go back and watch the rest of the anthology soon.
beyond has a real sense of wonder and playfulness that isn’t exactly synonymous with the matrix and it feels really special because of it. also, a cat!
all the kids are voiced by like, THEE voice actors of the 2000s. love hearing bobby hill and lil & phil deville in A Situation.
