The new “upscale” of this is, unfortunately, horrendous because of the use of AI. The art lacks a certain softness that the original film had. Still empty calories overall, this film, but does make me want to rewatch all of Hosoda’s weird little internet movies, all of which are all just secretly Digimon in disguise again
