This started out pretty boring but got more watchable when bill moseley was given more screen time #livelaughlove74yearoldmen

Really unfortunate that the cleaner copy available on disk isn’t what’s streaming. I don’t think this quite rises to the level of justifying shelf space.

The setup is great and I was excited to be back in Charles Band territory but this does devolve from a quirky dystopian slice of sleazy cheese into a mediocre slasher. As much as he adds some needed energy, Moseley is also not a very convincing robot. This is by no means terrible but it teases Robot Jox and barely delivers. 

Again, this fits the Hooptober requirement for a post-apocalyptic horror movie but I’m glad I knocked it off early. Unfortunately, any time I watch something in the Full Moon world it makes me want to dive back into that catalogue. Those other Robot Jox movies looking mighty fine…

This is my 300th movie for 2021, and it seems fitting. 
Imagine, if you will, that an Amazon-esque company called Unicom financially exploits people through schemes using bitcoin and nft, then buys up their “debt”, as well as most businesses, promptly displacing the workers and killing any competition, and as their monopoly grows they start enforcing a sorta tech-police state, banning civilians from using computers ect, until they literally run the working class underground because global warming is at a point where the sun melts your face when you stay outside too long. 
Then imagine a very early 80’s/cant believe this isn’t Australian aesthetic/locked room trope full of terrible synth but enough silly robot math to make it entertaining.
