Wonderful thriller/drama that deals less with actual police work investigation but more with the tie among the 3 exceptionally fleshed out characters, and the aftermath of their actions. Took a bit to get its footing but the final act was executed with such raw intensity and emotional punch that everything else fades away in the background. Overheard boasts of phenomenal acting, magnificent shots with some impressive camerawork here and there, and notable music, but the strongest suit is the compelling narrative with recurring themes of friendship and betrayal.
