I haven't watched the first movie in a while but I'm sure the zombies in that one was near unkillable while in necropolis they are just weak.
Return of the living dead necropolis is fi e and a little boring. The characters are pretty cookie cutter and bring nothing interesting. The story isn't terrible but was executed terribly. The zombies just feel boring and definitely not the interesting versions of the first movie.
In the end this movie is just boring.

god okay: I know it’s low budget but holy fuck take some acting lessons. the dialogue is genuinely unbelievable. all the deaths happen off screen because they don’t have the budget for the gore beyond a few squibs. this also means that none of the zombies die from headshots. you know, the whole reason that zombies die. that just doesn’t happen. instead all the zombies just die from body shots. the final “battle” is a swat team rolling in and shooting zombies and half the extras slowly sit down and play dead rather than actually falling over. the main bad guy has the same stupid shit eating grin the entire movie, no matter what emotion he’s supposed to express, he just wears that stupid fucking grin. i am beyond words at this point. everything about this is fucking terrible. there is no redeemable quality to be found here. none.
