Pre Stop Making Sense I would say Bring on The Night was probably my favourite concert film growing up. I will always have a positive-biased towards Sting. Listening to my dad playing his and The Police’s records non stop as a child has had a detrimental effect on me as a person and my music taste. And watching this brings nothing but happy memories of Sunday mornings listening to Ten Sumner’s Tales, dark January nights watching Live in Berlin on my own after school, buying Regatta De Blanc with pocket money after battering my dads CD.
One day, I might do a comprehensive review of the content of BotN, but for now I am relishing in the bliss of living through my youth for the first time on bluray.
Next year I go and see Sting for the second, and let’s face it, probably last time. And you better bet I will be the youngest person there and I will ball like a baby.
