i can't lie, a part of me wants too put this at a 4.5, so if it's at a 4.5 that means i changed it, but due to how much they rushed 120 chapters it's rlly hard too keep it at such a high rating. i'm still rlly biased towards this, as i said in my first review. my god i rlly enjoyed this movie, i like some of the choices they made, but i also dislike a lot of changes they made. i don't like how they skipped the entire fukubei thing, if you know what i mean then you know. i also hate how they practically replaced the entire pope situation with "friend" going through shinjuku and then the big thing that happens, happens there instead in the school like in the manga with the big reveal. but there's some stuff i do like when regarding the changes. i like how they skipped alot from the prison, sure it adds a lot to the manga artist, but im sure this movie would be so slow considering how slow it is in the manga. the script too these movies are so shit if u look at them like a movie, but for me u cant make this sound realistic or anything normal without it behind so cartoony and dramatic, as that's what urasawa was aiming for when writing the manga, too the people how flame the script i highly doubt they read the manga, but yea it rlly is so funnily bad at times but imo i love it. urasawa once said in an interview he wants this too reach a small particular audience and im definitely one of them, i love this trilogy so far and even though im more comparing this too the manga, im still genuinely enjoying these and i cant look at these with hate no matter how hard i should. the soundtrack in this, is fucking amazing. it's so eerie at times especially during the expo. i wish this movie had the "then he became a god" with that eerie ass soundtrack, cause oh my god that would've hit so hard. i'm happy friend has more of a presence in this, he's in the first movie for a solid 5 minutes, tbf during them chapters in the manga he was barely there too, i hate how early they show the iconic friend mask. it was a monkey for the first half of the manga but in these movies he just wears the monkey mask during the bloody new years which in my opinion was a confusing choice as the mask choice adds a lot too friend and who he is. i liked the way they ended this movie, but im curious too see how they end this, considering the scale the last arc of this manga is.
great movie
