In my opinion, this is the most textbook film so far. Deeply rich and well-rounded characters inside. This is the first time that the FBI (and Akai family) appears in a movie after appearing much earlier in the series.
The mystery is also great which leads the audience to believe in Kogoro's initial analysis.
Many scenes where the characters speak English, but it's a bit jarring to say the least.
Right around the middle, There are two scenes with the same goal, to set up final equipment for Conan to use at the end of the film. It should have been made into one singular scene as Agasa's quiz to keep the story going, and not drag to long.
7/10
Not much to say other than great action with imposing main villain.
