My mom wanted to watch this so badly that we watched a lo-res YouTube upload. No studio will ever rerelease this lol.

It was soooo bad that it was actually amazing. There was a Star Wars scene, an Indiana jones scene, one of the best musical numbers and dances I’ve seen in a long time. My mom and I were dying laughing. And that is what it’s all about!

Not sure what most people are expecting from this. Heard about it on Yvette Nicole Brown’s episode of Brett Goldstein’s Films To Be Buried With and figured I’d give it a shot. It was silly and fun and I’m sure I’d have appreciated it more if I’d seen a lot of the pirate films coming out at the time. The Star Wars and Indiana Jones references come out of literally nowhere. The 80s synth ballads mixed with just straight up songs from Pirates of Penzance was bonkers. All in all, a fun time if you don’t take it to seriously.
