This movie did what I once thought impossible…they’ve created an awful Cinderella adaptation 

How do you take a piece of work that’s already been done before and modeled a number of times and make it boring?? 

Firstly, this Cinderella is by far the most air headed annoying version I’ve ever had the displeasure of coming across. Rather than using her imagination as a means of escape she often sounds out right dumb. No thoughts just vibes. But I guess that’s why her and the Prince are suited for one another as they are both painfully dense. 

Speaking of which this Cindy and Prince Charming have by far been the most unbelievable portrayal of love at first sight. I was not convinced in the slightest that they fell in love within an hour. It’s like they’re under a love spell where they were forced to be together but in the backs of their minds they are fighting to break free. That’s how awful their chemistry was.

The sets looked cramp and the costumes felt boring. Singing was mid and acting flat. 

Maybe it’s because the 1997 version spoiled me rotten but this was just AWFUL
