The first movie after the first 4 that really feels like sequel. Death threat is a legacy sequel or definitely feels like it and it pretty good. My one complaint is I disagree with killing a certain character and how but on the flip side the end I do think the death has a pretty cool and interesting j horror spin at the ending. The positives though are that I like the emphasis on legacy. The new main character is pretty interesting and cool. The rest of the characters are all serviceable to good and the villians are normal to this franchise. That is fine I don't mind that at all. The ending is pretty good too. I like the little supernatural j horror addition. The tone feels right to the originals. In the end it's a good addition to the franchise and we'll worth a watch.
