right off the bat i will say this movie is too long & really could have been a lot shorter, which would have made it a lot better. this film does have some good ideas & characters, with the whole last act being absolutely insane and just like Carrie but in Satô style! its commentary on bullying was also pretty interesting but the first hour or so is way too drawn out. the tone in this movie is completely bleak and nihilistic too, so it is a very depressing & disturbing watch. overall, i would recommend it but don’t expect Satô’s normal film style as this is one very different.
