This is one of those movies where you probably shouldn’t like it as much as you do but you really really do despite how pornographic and sexually charged it is because underneath the sleaze and horniness, the movie just lays the concept out to bare and it’s amazing.
We ought to realize that sex doesn’t make a movie worth less than those without it, and this and Love Hotel (1985) drive that theory home in my opinion. Voyeurism and its natural state of looking outward in seems to pervade every moment of this flick. Tinto bars no holds and lets his freak flag fly and we should just appreciate that for what it is honestly.
