I respect when a remake isn’t shot for shot recreation but this is something else. riddled and diseased with outrageous flaws but it manages on reaching such a satisfying itch that I had hidden deep in the crevices in my brain. really ain’t great but is???

It’s a trashy remake of what I assume is an equally trashy movie where a bunch of horny demons kill and have sex with people. It’s that good kind of trashy though. I had a fun time with it and all the gross stuff.

Seeing this as a child was probably not a good decision but I’ll tell you even on rewatch as an adult that lipstick scene will not get out of my head, especially John Beach’s delivery telling everybody about it.

A bland generic soulless remake of one of my favorite horror films. This was complete garbage. This shit just got worse the more it went on. Terrible script terrible directing terrible acting terrible editing terrible special effects makeup garbage CGI. Genuinely not a single redeeming quality.

Haven’t watched this in a long while so I thought why not now? Just as good as I remembered, takes the basic storyline from the original and spins it to be its own thing, the way remakes should be! Fun little nods to the OG (including Linnea making a cameo) and that soundtrack! Did they somehow find my usual Halloween playlist because they do feature some tunes I use for that!
