A fascinating and well-crafted documentary about an odd man who was very good at a very specific niche, engineering execution equipment, who then gets pulled into and embraced as the poster child for the most despicable group of people alive today, Holocaust deniers. Morris crafts a visually compelling portrait of a man who is completely oblivious to the damage he propagates and refuses to accept the possibility that he's wrong. The inclusion of Robert Jan van Pelt shooting down all of Leuchter's falsities and overall incompetence really is the highlight of the documentary and integral to the portrait as a whole.
