I didn’t expect much given the reviews for this film, but after finally giving it a watch, I. LOVED. IT. again, Iguchi didn’t miss! it’s Iguchi’s take on a murder game film and it was so damn good and entertaining throughout, despite its somewhat long runtime for an Iguchi film. genuinely I was never bored, it has the signature gore of Iguchi, insane plotline, fun characters and of course Asami playing a crazy character! i seriously really enjoyed this movie, as expected yes it was silly and weird, but that is the charm of Noboru Iguchi!
Overall, a must watch for fans of his stuff. Great cast, great kills and an awesome charm throughout. Really enjoyed it! Also, I’ve been watching so many great movies recently lmfao, a lot of high ratings, but they do all deserve it! It is also funny the English title on letterboxd is called “Raining Blood” when the movie actually translates to “Live”, which is a book in the movie aha
