Honestly could have been an interesting movie. The plot of trying to unravel what happened to the missing professor and student is interesting, as well as exploring what they could have done to make the building so haunted. It is brought down by two aspects: Unexplained character conflict, and spending too much time on the build up. Two of the male characters are constantly arguing, which could be an interesting dynamic if they have a past history, but it is completely unexplained why they don't get along at all, which just makes the dynamic annoying. The movie also spends a lot of time building up to the investigation, and not enough time for the actual investigation, which leads everything to happen within the span of twenty minutes, and everything is very unexplained. If more time was devoted to a slower build up of paranormal activity, as well as the discovery of potential evidence as to what happened, this movie would be interesting and Grave Encounter-esque.
