witty script and likeable characters 

interesting idea even if the monsters aren’t all that scary 

but that’s the main problem for this as it relies on dread and it really does struggle to maintain it for the last 30 minutes.

really fun twist at the end though as you completely forget about it.

A 120 minute script crammed into 90 minutes. Everyone’s talking at the pace of a British Pathé narrator. Also, if the creature is going to look that bad you may as well go Pertwee era and show the bubble wrap. Still, as always, cosy as hell.
