we see her grow so much throughout the movie. reasonably, she was a timid girl who wasn’t able to speak about what happened to her, to a confident girl who was ready to stand up for other victims and herself in-front of the whole school. it playing on repeat infront of everyone throughout the speakers at the game was really so impactful and i know it would’ve been even more impactful in real life.
i weirdly feel so connected to sam now, like i need 10 more movies and a tv show asap😭 this has been on my watchlist for awhile now from a tiktok i seen saying everyone needs to watch this once in their life and i kinda agree, it’s nothing groundbreaking or high budgeted but it is really powerful and meaningful. the way so many people, even the woman police officer, wouldn’t believe her and that pissed me off so much everytime.
