You know, I've been shocked how much I've enjoyed these Airport movies up to this point. They're not perfect but they're pretty damn fun, I don't know why they have such a poor reputation. Then I get a minute into this one and I go, "Oh. Oh no..." Been awhile since I've watched a straight-up bad movie, but boy this is a baaad movie. The budget is all out the window, the filmmaking is often incompetent, the line readings are so bad, the absurdity is cranked up to eleven. Courtesy of a screenplay by future Oscar winner Eric Roth oddly enough. Just... a bad movie. Though George Kennedy, Alain Delon, and David Warner in the cockpit of a Concorde is a nightmare blunt rotation I wouldn't mind being part of.
