The story of a surly crew, an honest God-fearing captain, a hardboiled-but-loyal Scotch mate, a scoundrelly second-mate, and then a mutiny, the fight and the final voyage to a safe harbor. But not before the Captain has been murdered, his pretty daughter in peril, her rescue by the single passenger on board, and a member of the crew thrown overboard by another crew member.

An interesting one especially with such an unhappy ending. Everything I wanted from Mutiny on the Bounty is here with a focus on the actual mutiny but even with as shady as the members of the mutiny are I still would side with them and think that dumping acid on them is a most usually cruel punishment for their actions. The narrative obviously wants you to side with the authority of the ship while not giving enough of a reason to do so. That being said the action and tension are well done and set a good overall tone.
