I was quite impressed with this little independent horror film and frankly it was nothing like what I assumed it would be when I initially saw that poster. Efficient jump scares, and brilliant use of music all through out, it kept the creepiness factor up incessantly. Wasn't it interesting how they thought about mixing in the government to the story? I grew fond of that because they could've just gone the usual possession-documentary/found footage path, but adding in the government's tampering and their hidden agenda elevated the story actually. I honestly think if they have disregarded that, The Atticus Institute would just be another middling entry in the possession genre.
