holy shit… extremely bleak & depressing watch. the fact this was based on true events is sickening. i’d put this movie in the same sort of category as films like Men Behind the Sun, highly disturbing films about true events during the second world war. very exploitative but also serves as reminders & awareness of the worst in humanity. obviously not an enjoyable film, but a worthwhile watch for those interested. the Unearthed Films transfer looks visually stunning also!
