even better on rewatch. arguably the best queer romantic comedy ever next to but i’m a cheerleader. i still don’t understand how this isn’t more of a trans cult classic. the main conclusion being that t4t sex is literal magic??? and not in a terfy bioessentialist way?? like you don’t have to choose? you can just be?? idk man i just genuinely haven’t seen that communicated so succinctly in any other queer media that i’ve consumed and it’s so sweet and special to me. and also hot! in like a way less fetishistic way than you’d expect (minus the bondage moment) but still! kinda fucking insane for 2004! idk i’m just really glad this exists and i think every gender noncomfoming person should see this stupid corny beautiful movie at least once. i hope the ‘man’ that wrote this gave themself a chance to Be
