A very unique take on the travelling stranger on a tale of revenge story. The look of the film is magically displayed before you. With unusual colours, set pieces and lighting, mixed with a pop-up book feel.
The story's narrative could be speeded up and though there are some very clever scenes and sequences, there are some very daft ones too.
The fight choreography is definitely not up to par and times it looked like the actors hadn't rehearsed enough to convincingly pull off their supposed skills.
It's got a very good cast but the bigger names don't seem to put in much effort. I liked Kevin McKidd, who most people will remember as Tommy from Trainspotting. He seemed to be the only one whom seemed to put any devotion into his character.
Overall, fun but lacking any gravitas.
