❝If you're born, death is inevitable.❞
❝Death is only for the body, not the soul. You'll be reborn to kill him.❞

I don't get scared easily watching horror films, and yet watching this as a kid was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life; to be honest, it still gives me the creeps. With that being said, though, it's genuinely great, from the cast, to the convoluted plot, to the beautiful costumes. Anushka Shetty did a fantastic job as Jejamma, but her other character Arundhati Jr. really pissed me off towards the end. Sonu Sood was brilliantly disgusting as the evil Pasupathi, playing his role so well child me was haunted by his wide eyes and disturbing voice. On the whole, a film steeped in nostalgia for me, but not one I can stomach very frequently.
