After being run out of Las Vegas, reporter Carl Kolchak heads for Seattle and another reporting job with the local paper. It's not long before he’s on the trail of another string of bizarre murders. It seems that every 21 years, for the past century, a killer murders a certain number of people, drains them of their blood, and then disappears into the night. Kolchak is on his trail, but can he stop him?

Just as fun and creepy as the first Kolchak movie. Darren McGavin is just an utter joy to watch, always infuriating everyone he comes across. I really need to get around to watching the TV show. This stuff is just made for me.

This was cool little watch. While most of this was shot on sets seeing bits and pieces of Seattle in the 70s was a treat. This is unapologetically a TV movie and I love it for that reason. I keep growing fond of these mystery/crime/horror TV movies. A little annoying at points but there are some fun zooms in this and a groovy af soundtrack. I’m going to have to see if I can find the main theme somewhere.
