As a remake of the 1974 movie it isn't the best or even the best movie without being a remake. What it loses in the Gothic atmosphere of the original they do compensate for it by adding alot more blood, boobs and sex. I did still like the movie and has its good moments especially Fran and mirriam they are done well with a good moment of tension near the end. Not the worst remake you'll find and it does sometimes feel like a softcore horror movie but it has its enjoyable moments.
