In an estate in the South of Algiers, in the middle of the nineties. Djaber and Yamina are neighbours, but do not know each other. For one as for the other, it is so difficult to meet between girls and boys, that they almost stopped dreaming about it. In a few days nevertheless, what was up to then that deaf and distant violence explodes in front of them, modifying for ever their fates.

هنا au moins كنت نقدر نشوف لبنات بصح غير نخرجو كانو يتبحرو
Pure disappointment I love it perfectly pactured the algerian winter vibe and i mean perfectly this is exactly how our teenagers are living their days in here except for having parties that shit never happens it shows how disappointed hopeless and lost the algerian kids are the terrible schools terrible environment terrible families It also shows how different it is between being a girl and a boy in algeria how he does nothing when he cones home but study but she has to do her house "duties" how terrific it is for and girl to go to a party compared to a boy how a girl is always thinking about the consequences of the smallest things she does I didn't understand the shop scene where she hid behind that door but i really liked it Also the shot where her father comes home and she greeted him with fear and I dont know maybe hatred i adore it The soundtrack was good the constant use of opera music was kinda iconic and unique for an algerian movie Souhila melem's performance was also soo good i admire her a lot This movie is so dear to me because i couldn't get more related to any other one
