As with many of these portraits of America type verite docs, this does a great job of laying bare the issues in our society. This one in particular gave me pause a bit. I found this entertaining, but ultimately made me sort of sick to my stomach. Our society is really messed up, and films like this force me to understand that America is what it is, the good and the bad go hand and hand and recently it feels like there is more of the bad. The kind of person, and some of the thoughts expressed in this doc have only INCREASED in the 10 or so years since this was made and I dunno but I feel yucky and not very hopeful.
