Any boy (and a lot of girls) who grew up in the 80s probably had at least some kind of knowledge of wrestling. I am no exception. For a brief period I loved it and Jake "The Snake" Roberts was part of that time. He was absolutely captivating and someone I always looked forward to seeing. Sure there were your Hulks, your Macho Mans, Your Ultimate Warriors, but there was always something about Jake that stood out to me. I grew up and lost interest in wrestling and so I never knew what became of Jake. It's a sad story but this documentary is so uplifting and inspiring. What a great story presented in such a great and real way. If you grew up in the 80s and had any kind of connection to wrestling or to Jake The Snake at all, give this a watch. It's an exceptional film.
