not at all what i was expecting from the title and the synopsis, what i was lead to believe was that i was going into a raid-esque action thriller but what i received was a 90 minute piece of chinese army propaganda. the movie doesn't really try to be a movie its just things happening in the background of a "i want you" sort of army campaign. i was pretty let down by this one.

A movie to make even the least sophisticated Chinese nationalist go, “Well, that’s silly.” Every scene is edited like it’s the climax. Endless shooting.

I hope the sequel directly ties in to the plot of this one because I’m only watching this so I can see the sequel. 

Other than some decent action set pieces.. this film is basically a lifeless mess. It’s genuinely awful.
